FUSION MATERIAL

For my 3D model of my initials I choose Aluminium as the main material to reflect my personality. Despite its visual aesthetics that may appear to look tough and strong, mentally I am not as strong which is similar to Aluminium that is quite soft. In addition, I choose a dark colour on the outside as I'm told that I look unapproachable when I don't speak, however I am the complete opposite of how I may seem to be, hence I choosed bright colours powder coated metal on the inside to represent this trait.

Studio Activity:

Model Making

I created model of my study room using 160GSM paper. Walls of the room was created by cutting out the net of a cuboid and attached to each other using glue. Scale of model 1:20 due to the lack of material. 

Model with V-Pleats folding technique incorporated. Model was made with 3mm mounting board.
